In mid-November, we made a second fall 2022 trip with items generously donated for the King's Inn homeless shelter for women and children. We have to do everything we can to help disenfranchised people attain a foundation again and give the next generation opportunities!

We delivered a shipment to the King's Inn women and children's homeless shelter in October of 2022 with many items, including six (six!) new strollers bought with money donated by a generous community member. We're sure all of these items are going to good use by them.

We had a great time at the annual Queens Pride march earlier this month, back again for the first time since the pandemic struck. A beautiful day and many great companions made it extra-great (including a visit by Dem. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and the cheerleading squad in front of us, as you can see)! Really great and important to support protection and expansion of LGBTQ rights, as malevolent forces strive to reduce them. Stay strong, and Happy Pride!

We really enjoyed our time there, and were happy to stand up for the rights of all oppressed peoples, from LGBT individuals to the Ukrainians fighting to keep their independence! Hope to see you there next year!

Due to the current tragic events unfolding in Ukraine, our meeting topic for 2/27 will be changed to "How Can We Ethically Respond to the War in Ukraine?"

We will cover the topic previously scheduled ("Current State of the Voting Rights Suppression Monstrosity") in the near future.
