Every Sunday, (11am-12:30pm, at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83949380797) we meet to discuss pertinent ethical issues in each of our lives and concerning the world around us.
We are also involved on an ongoing basis in actions on the ethical issues of our time:
We also seek to (and are prepared to) start a new Sunday School for teaching ethical living to children, as we have had in the past.
A few examples of recent actions include: our annual participation in the St. Pat's for All parade and Pride parade in Queens; our campaign for planting of new trees in vacant sidewalk plots; and donating needed items to a local homeless shelter.
We are also involved on an ongoing basis in actions on the ethical issues of our time:
- racial, gender, LGBTQ and social class justice;
- the environment, including climate change (e.g., getting trees planted in Queens);
- immigration;
- public health;
- supporting our democracy;
- and others.
